About the Artist

Janice Eliovson, an emerging abstract artist from Sydney, channels her passion and personal experiences into her vibrant acrylic and mixed-media creations. Inspired by her grandmother, father, and the natural world, her work blends cultural and environmental influences from her African and Australian roots. Eliovson's intuitive process allows emotions and instincts to guide her, using bold colors, symbols, and mark-making to craft a visual language that explores the depths of human emotion and connection to nature.

Painting has become a source of healing and growth for Eliovson, particularly following the loss of her eldest son. She describes her art as “unfinished visual poetry” that connects her to spirit while offering solace and joy.
